Roy John Fuller Bio
Roy John Fuller a.k.a the “Big Brush Man” is a native of Virginia but has lived on SW Florida for the past 35 years. Roy is a retired engineer and now spends his time creating watercolors using design principals that inspire him. Roy only uses the primary colors of red, blue and yellow, however he does like to use a warm and cool tone in each color. By combining warm and cool colors the watercolor paintings have more variety of temperatures. Roy starts his watercolor paintings with a simple value sketch. This allows him to adjust the positions of his dark and light values so the painting will be more appealing. Three is a magic number in Roy’s painting. He only paints three trees, rocks, mountains, birds, or houses to complete his paintings. Roy offers watercolor workshops in Florida, Virginia, and Costa Rica.
Barbara Broderick Bio
Barbara Broderick is proud to be a Cape Coral resident and a Chicago native. Her work is meant to capture the beauty of everyday moments. She is not your typical stained glass artist. All of her designs come from her original drawings. She captures the beauty of glass with the way light can make it radiate and glow. Using metal and light as part of her medium, she creates shadows giving dimension and depth to her pieces. With the use of her kiln, her art also includes 3-D stained glass. It is meant to feel to come alive in light and literally pop out at you. This unique aspect, signature of her artwork, makes each piece truly exceptional. None of her art is ever duplicated; owning her work is owning the original.
